Objective:

To preserve and protect the environmental integrity of CKNP with community participation.

Result:

CKNP environmental integrity strengthened with community ownership.

Major Activities undertaken:

Strengthening CKNP Directorate, Construction of CKNP Entry point and improvement of campsites at Jhula, Payu and Urdokas with WASH facilities.

Construction of new campsites at Korofung and Bardomal with WASH facilities.

Building local capacity for management of CKNP and environmental protection.

Development of Waste management mechanisms for environmental protection and economic growth.
