Objective:

  • Empower community through broad-based, representative, socially inclusive and transparent process to become partners in development
  • Improve food security at the community level with special focus on needs of marginalized and vulnerable women and children

Result:

●Increased water availability for irrigation from a reliable source to benefit 223 Households

● 3500 Kanals of arid land under cultivation

Increased agricultural productivity

● 223 Households with improved food security and supplementary means of income generation

● Positive impact on eco systems
