Project Duration: 1 Year

Objective:

To build community resilience and reduce vulnerability against climate change impacts for 247 households.   To preserve and protect the environmental integrity of CKNP with community participation.

Result:

CKNP environmental integrity strengthened with community ownership.

Major Activities undertaken:

Construction of campsites with WASH facilities, construction of registration facility, installation of solar lights, placement of waste management systems.  Training local community skilled in waste management Building / capacity of local community.  Generating revenue for local community from campsite fee.  Empowering community socially and economically to become custodian of their environment. Awareness workshops and capacity building.
